Hi dear student,
I am sitting in Montreal airport on my way to my next performance and teaching assignment in Costa Rica. After spending a few years entirely focused on our online-SKOOL, I am now frequently touring again, both on my little home island in the North Atlantic, as well as internationally.
In all honesty, I cannot tell you what I enjoy more: performing in the finest theaters and festivals around the globe, or for a small group of youngsters at a remote school in the Icelandic countryside. All that really matters to me is “doing it”, sharing this craft and live interaction with as many fellow humans as possible, through real live theater! 🥰
Yes, I am so tired of AI, and of how much time I waste just trying to avoid it as much as possible. At the same time, I witness every day how much people crave the H.S.I., human soulful intelligence; we all need real, sincere, personalised, loving, and authentic interaction and inspiration. So, let’s do it, let’s spread our wings and offer our sweet service to this world.
It might be the best time ever to be a puppeteer; really, think about it! Live performances still cannot be replaced by AI or Robots, at least for now. 😅
Whether you are a veteran performer or just making your first humble steps as a puppet builder, it does not matter where you are on this journey; it only matters that you share this “hand-made” magic with someone around you. Your friends, adults and children alike, your grandkids or grandparents, bring a smile and inspiration into their lives, and experience how much you get inspired and enriched yourself. 🚀
Call me a “hopeless optimist” or simply join me to keep spreading the magic and joy. It’s at least way more fun and rewarding than being frustrated or even scared of a high-tech world that is tempting you to get sucked into a whirlpool of intensity and senseless overstimulation. 🌈
Let’s build some more puppets and make more puppet-shows, what a glorious opportunity! ❤️
